Japan culls tens of millions of chickens because of bird flu,price of eggs hit a seven-year high

    The wholesale price of eggs in Japan has been on the rise recently.The price of a standard egg in Tokyo has reached 260 yen (about 15 yuan) per kilogram at the wholesale market,It not only did it more than double its level at the start of the year, but it hit its highest level in seven years and four months.

    It is reported that the price of eggs in Japan has risen mainly due to two factors:On the one hand, people are cooking more at home because of the epidemic, which has increased the demand for eggs.
