Russian poultry producers and retailers have agreed to freeze poultry prices, Prime news agency reported on March 9. The producers plan to freeze wholesale prices temporarily and guarantee sales will not be lower than last year.
Russia’s national poultry producers’ federation and retail associations have joined the agreement, which will be valid for three weeks and set the price at 145 rubles ($2) a kilogram.
