CAB, a poultry producer in Malaysia, announced on June 16 that it has suspended operations at one of its plants after 162 people were found to have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the notice, 162 cases of COVID-19 were found at the plant on June 10-11, and the Ministry of Health ordered the plant to suspend operations until further notice.
‘The incident will have no impact on the manufacturer’s revenue and earnings this fiscal year, and the company will continue to cooperate with the Malaysian government to ensure the safety and health of all employees,’ the statement said.
